There Are Many Ways to Give
If you resonate with our goal to uplift artists across a wide-range of disciplines spanning visual art, music, and performance, there are many ways to support our work.
Become a Monthly or Quarterly Donor
When you donate monthly or quarterly, you fund our month-to-month operations and recurring expenses.
This supports monthly exhibitions for visual artists, compensation for musicians, expenses for 2-4 events per month, and maintaining our space for exhibitions and performances.
This also helps us cover the behind-the-scenes administrative work of maintaining a non-profit organization.
When you provide a one-time gift, you allow us to cover a range of immediate and one-time expenses.
This includes the cost of print and promotional materials, office supplies, and technical equipment for performances and exhibitions. This also goes toward supporting the total cost of our annual residency.
Offer a One-Time Gift
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable investment account.
It allows individuals like you to contribute cash, stocks, or other assets to receive an immediate tax deduction, while retaining the ability to recommend grants to qualified charities like UVA.
The sponsoring organization (we’ve listed examples below) manages the funds, which grow tax-free, based on the individual’s investment instructions. DAFs offer a tax-smart way to streamline and manage charitable giving, providing a flexible and efficient method for donors to support their philanthropic goals.
The benefits to individuals include tax deductions, flexibility, and record-keeping for their charitable donations. Donations can be one-time, scheduled for a specific date, or set up as a recurring donation, such as monthly, quarterly, or annually.
How do I create a Donor-Advised Fund?
If you don’t have a donor-advised fund yet, anyone can create one. There is no minimum amount and no age requirement.
