Maithili Rajput (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist from northern Maharashtra, India, currently based in Providence, Rhode Island. Her work explores endurance, vulnerability, and the relationship between bodies and physical or social structures, inviting audiences to consider questions of visibility, care, and collective responsibility.

Maithili has exhibited and performed internationally, with work presented across India, Europe, and the United States. She holds an MFA in Sculpture from Boston University and is pursuing an MDes in Interior Architecture at RISD.

She believes there is magic in the mundane and is endlessly curious about the unconventional, the unexpected, and the possibilities that emerge when certainty gives way to curiosity.

Outside of her artistic practice, Maithili enjoys exploring cafés, traveling, hiking, and discovering new places.
