Mark-making from Nature

Join us at the Overlook Gallery for a mark-making workshop led by artists Anne Barnes and Caroline Sirois! Working with images from Botanical Shakespeare by Gerit Quealy and illustrated by Sumie Hasegawa Collins; Hildegard’s Healing Plants; and assemblages of live and dried plants; participants will draw, discuss and share interpretations of nature.

Supplies provided!

This program is part of rooted in ruins, an artist residency project by Caroline Sirois coordinated by Unbound Visual Arts and held at the Overlook Gallery. The residency is made possible through funding from the Harvard-Allston Partnership Grant and Boston College.
