The opening reception for the UVA’s educational exhibit Freedom on June 18th, 2016 at the Honan-Allston Library Art Gallery  was a delightful summer afternoon affair. The approximately 50 visitors (including State Senator Will Brownsberger) enjoyed meeting the artists, listening to inspiring and passionate artist talks by Maria Trudette Madision, Phoebe Ann Erb and Sue-Yee Leung, music by pianist and singer/songwriter Mae Sui Wei Stroshane, lots of great food provided by artists in the exhibit and Board Member Louise Bonar, and a great deal of socializing around the art exhibit on the important subject of Freedom.
