Caren Zane Fishman has been creating and selling her mosaics for the home for the past 14 years. She does one of a kind pieces and works with kitchen and bath designers along with interior decorators. Caren is also consulting with restaurants owners, architects and contractors in Boston and the surrounding areas. She will help them with design and choose tile for their kitchens and bathroom projects. She has completed many pieces on commission. Some of Caren’s commissions have been kitchen countertops, kitchen and bathroom back splashes and shower floors, custom mirrors and personalized house numbers.
Caren has shown her work in a number of galleries and stores. Caren uses mostly glass, marble and stone tile but, enjoys working with other materials she finds on her travels.
Caren has been expanding her work with mosaics creating three dimensional sculptures as well as continuing to create her one of a kind pieces. She has also been working with polymer clay. Caren’s designs and her installations can be seen in Boston and the surrounding areas. Caren also teaches mosaic classes at her studio in Brookline, Ma. Her classes are for all levels, from beginners to accomplished mosaic artists.
